APOSTLE'S MESSAGE

Date: November 20, 2022

To all the Saints of God,

Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World.  As this Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.

Health authorities and governmental officials are now advising people to wear face mask in public gatherings, use social distancing, and get vaccinated for your own health and safety from the Covid-19 virus.  In some places wearing face mask is no longer mandatory in indoor public spaces.

·         As of November 11, 2022, Covid-19 data report indicates that community transmission of Covid-19 remained in the green level which indicates that community spread is low. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has not declared that the pandemic has ended.

·         Face masks are recommended in public gatherings for individual safety based on your individual health condition and risk.

·         Gatherings indoors is allowed without face mask, but each individual should be aware of their health risk.

·         Vaccinations and boosters remain the recommended most effective way to control the spread of Covid-19 by health authorities.

·         Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters are offered to everyone in the State of Georgia.

We are open for indoor in-person services with face mask, social distancing, temperature checks and Covid-19 testing. We are also continuing online services through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube.   In-person Baptism and prayer service are available by attending our local service on site, attending our services on Zoom, or emailing your request to:

 info@ministersofjesuschrist.com or prayerrequest@ministersofjesuschrist.com.

As we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.

Romans 13:2-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

TITUS 3:1-2 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

This week’s encouraging words of growth focuses on:

Abide in the Love of the Lord God Jesus Christ

by Apostle Dennis G. Smith

To abide in love of God which means to stay in the love of God, we must remain functioning according to the will of God and the plan of God for all mankind.  We cannot abide in the love of God if we are hating all the people who are different from us because God has love for all the people on the planet.  We cannot remain in the love of God if we are seeking to harm people.  We cannot remain in the love of God if we are following and teaching false doctrine that deceives people and will send them to hell.

The Lord God Jesus Christ is the one Lord God alone and there is no other God but Him. He is not three separate and distinct persons as the false teachers have said, but He is one person which means that He is one individual invisible spiritual being that is present everywhere on the Earth, and in the Heavens, and throughout all of the universes.  He covers all these places at the same time because He is not limited by size, time, or space.

He reveals himself in different ways when making himself known to mankind and throughout all the universes. His manifestations are not separate beings. At the baptism of the Lord Jesus Christ by John the Baptist, the Lord God revealed himself in three ways at the same time.  He revealed himself as the Father when the voice spoke from heaven. He revealed Himself as the indwelling Holy Spirit in the bodily form of a dove descending from heaven and landing on the physical body of Jesus Christ. He revealed Himself as the Son in the Natural Body that was born of Mary and was baptized by John the Baptism.

Because God is unlimited in the ways He can be seen and known, the visible manifestation which can be seen or the vocal voice manifestation which can be heard are different manifestations but not different beings.  A simple way to understand the power of manifestation of God is to understand that he is the Almighty, all power Spiritual Being that has the ability to take on different forms at any time.

Mark 1:8 - 11 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.  And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.  And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:  And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Luke 3:21 - 22 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

John1:32 - 34 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.  And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

God has taken on visible forms before he came in the human flesh and blood body as he used a burning bush to make Himself visible and speak to Moses.

Mark 12:26 - 27 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?  He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Exodus 3:2 - 6 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.  And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.  And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.  And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.  Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

The Lord Jesus declared to Apostle Phillip that he was the Father because the one invisible Spirit of God was the one spiritual being or person that indwelled his natural human bodily form.  He revealed to all people that the fulness of the Godhead was within his body which teaches all people that the Godhead is not three separate and distinct persons. But the Godhead is one Spirit known by different titles and different manifestations.

John14:6 - 11 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.  Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

This teaches us that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three ways in which we all can come to know God.  And Because Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three ways in which we can all know God, the past Bishops used the word Trinity to express these three Manifestations of the one and only Almighty God. They are not three separate and distinct beings or persons, and they are not a compound name for salvation.  Salvation is only obtained through the one singular Name of Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:10 - 12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. ACT4:11 This is the stone, which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. ACT4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

He reveals Himself as Father which is His Eternal Spirit creating all of us. We pray to Him as Father in our prayers because He is in everyplace.  He revealed Himself as the Son when He was born of the Virgin Mary in a natural human body which made him visible to the human eyesight to die on the cross for our sins.  He reveals Himself as the Holy Ghost when we call upon His Name the Lord Jesus Christ and He comes and indwells us with His Eternal Holy Spirit which is the Father who has made us all.  But he is the same one being, one person in each manifestation in which He reveals himself. And because we know him according to these three titles, some people use the non-biblical word of trinity to express these three manifestations or three titles of the one Almighty God. They may speak of a trinity of manifestations or a trinity of titles of the one God, but if they speak of a trinity of separate and distinct persons which imply three separate Gods or three separate beings, they are teaching false doctrine.  I will repeat the scriptures again for your biblical proof and continue with what the biblical Apostles have taught us.

Mark 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

1Timothyt 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

1Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Ephesians 4:4 - 6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Romans 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

This Doctrine that reveals to us that there is one God is forever written and can never be changed this is the reason that we constantly remind all people about this biblical fact.  Because when people hear anyone make a statement that there is more than one almighty God, all may know that they are teaching false doctrine.  Though there may be those that are called Gods but to us there is but one God.

1Corinthians 8:5 - 6 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

So we continue in the things that the Lord God and His Apostles have commanded us. We are not moved by large crowds of people joining false churches which will lead them to hell while they become rich with money and material possessions, but we continue in the Word of the Lord in the mist of a lost world.  The Lord God has made a way for us to be fruitful because He planted us who believe in Him on fertile ground and expects us to bring forth good fruit. When we follow the things that He has taught, He clears out the stones in us and gives us the best vine. He expects us to it to bring forth good grapes and not the wild grapes of false doctrines.

Isaiah 5:1 - 3 Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:  And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.

The Lord God Jesus Christ demands that we should not follow after the sinful works of the flesh. He has purposed us to produce the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, and self-control or temperance.

Galatians5:19-24Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If we donot produce the fruit of the Spirit, then He takes away every branch that does not bear good fruit and he strengthens every branch that bears good fruit so that it may bear more fruit.  You may wonder why so many people leave the truth after hearing the word of God.  But when you look at the fruit that come from them, you have your answer based on their own actions.  God will separate the bad from the good.

John15:1 - 3 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Those that remain obedient to the Word of God are the ones that will labor all of their life to be pleasing to the Lord.  They are the ones who will be good soldiers on the battlefield for Jesus Christ. And the Lord God will be glorified in them. They are the true disciples of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  They will always stay in him even in times of trouble and disappointment.

John15:4 - 10 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.   Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

God is love…Those that are of God will always hear us and they will obey the commandments of the Lord.  This is how we all may know whether or not we are abiding in the love of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  This is how we make all recognize the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

1John 4:6 - 8 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will.

May he open your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your sins and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.

Then you must continue in prayer to the Lord God Jesus Christ asking him for the Holy Ghost, calling on His Name which is the Lord Jesus Christ and waiting or tarrying until you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives you utterances.  This experience with God will endow you with power.

Then you must leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Then you must continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine, remembering always that he that endures until the End, the same shall be saved.  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God Almighty. Amen

 With perfect love,
Apostle Dennis G. Smith
