                                APOSTLE'S MESSAGE

Date: March 12, 2023

To all the Saints of God,

Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World.  As this Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.

Health authorities and governmental officials are now advising people to wear face mask in public gatherings, use social distancing, and get vaccinated for your own health and safety from the Covid-19 virus.  In some places wearing face mask is no longer mandatory in indoor public spaces.

·   March 8, 2023, community transmission of Covid-19 remains in the green zone in Fulton County and in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. This means that the spread of the virus is at a low level in Atlanta, and you should continue to take precautions based on for your individual health condition. Some officials are reporting that we are moving from pandemic which is world wide spread to endemic which is localized community spread.

·         Face masks continue to be recommended for individual safety based on your individual health condition and risk.

·         Gatherings indoors is allowed without face mask, but each individual should be aware of their individual health risk.

·         Vaccinations and boosters remain the recommended most effective way for individual safety for dealing with the spread of Covid-19 according to health authorities.

·         Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters are offered to everyone in the State of Georgia.

We are open for indoor in-person services with face mask, social distancing, temperature checks and Covid-19 testing when needed. Each person attending in-person services should be fully aware of their own health risk as mask may be removed during singing and speaking, and some may attend without mask. We are also continuing online services through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube.

In-person Baptism and prayer service are available by attending our local service on site, attending our services on Zoom, or emailing your request to:

                          info@ministersofjesuschrist.com or prayerrequest@ministersofjesuschrist.com.

As we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.

Romans 13:2-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

TITUS 3:1-2 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

This week’s encouraging words of growth focuses on:

We Praise and Worship the Lord God Jesus Christ Continually

by Apostle Dennis G. Smith

When the word of God finally takes root in the true Saint of God, we will all began to praise and worship God in songs and testimonies for we can all sing together all His Praises and individually testify about his goodness.  We can also testify of His Goodness in our words of encouragement and in our songs and praises.  We can all teach and warn the whole world and each other in our words of encouragement and in songs and praises about the mighty works of the Lord God Jesus Christ and about His loving kindness and tender mercies that He has toward us in that He gave us favor, provides our every need, gives us victory over all evil ways and all evil creatures. Our praises and worship is our unquestioning love for God and our daily love for all mankind which is revealed in our Continual Praises to the one and only Almighty God.

Colossians 3:14 - 17 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Most people when they first come to a Church service are a little shy when it comes to speaking in front of other people. But this weakness that you may have in the beginning is something that all people must overcome because praising and worshiping the Lord God Jesus Christ is a part of our salvation. We must present this sacrifice to God each day of our life and forever.  We must all come to a point where we say without hesitation, “I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.”

Psalms 86:9 - 12 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. Psalms 86:10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. Psalms 86:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. Psalms 86:12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

When we give the Lord God Jesus Christ all the glory for the mighty works that he is doing and has done, we acknowledge that He is God alone.  We acknowledge that He created all things and all the knowledge, and the order of all creation come from Him alone.  Nobody else is responsible for the order and knowledge of all things but Him.  And when we overcome our sinful ways and live according to His order, He is the one who has given us salvation from the destruction in our life caused by our own sins.

Psalms 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

In the morning we give thanks unto the Lord for another day in which He alone has made so that we can live, rejoice and have successful day.  If he did not create another day, all the things around us would not exist and all would be lost.  But He continues to create each day making the sun to rise on good people and on the evil people giving all creatures a chance to continue living in the natural and in the spiritual world.  What if He did not make the sun to rise on the evil people?  Then everybody would be lost because all people have committed sin and did an evil thing at some point in their life.  This should reveal to all of us the mercy and loving kindness of the Lord God Jesus Christ. From this all should easily see that it is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to His name.  We must say, “Thank you Lord Jesus Christ”, and sing about His goodness on our musical instruments. We must not allow human jealousy and conflicts interfere with his praise and worship.  We must train all the children who are born to speak and sing about His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night.

Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalms 92:1 - 3 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:  Psalms 92:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Psalms 92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

We must never allow the praise of God to become only paid performance showmanship where only the professional entertainers dominate the service.  But we must teach the whole world to sing of the goodness of the Lord God Jesus Christ and let everything that has breath praise the LORD.

Psalms 150:1 - 6 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Psalms 150:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Psalms 150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Psalms 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Psalms 150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals.

Psalms 150:6 Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Stop being afraid to sing a song to the Lord in the presence of the Saints and in the front of the whole world if they will listen.  If you donot know a song, you need to learn a song to sing.  If you donot know how to play music on an instrument, you need to learn to play music on some instrument for the praises you will offer to the Lord God.  This is the sacrifice that we must continue to offer to the Lord God.  If you want to please the Lord God Jesus Christ, this is one of the ways in which you can learn to please the Lord.

Hebrews 13:15 - 16 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

And now we all know the way to thank, the Lord God for his goodness.  And now we know a way to please the Lord.  And now we know also that God loves a cheerful giver.  When we sing songs and speak words of thanks to God, it make us cheerful, and it expresses our free-will, and free-choice to live a life obedient to the commandments of the Lord God Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 5:19 - 20 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And now all creatures can Praise and Worship God Almighty in His spiritual form and in His visible form that rose from the grave and ascended into heaven which we will see someday.  For we will now be able to see the invisible God, because he took on flesh and blood and died for our sins upon the cross and rose from the dead and ascended into heaven in visible form.  He revealed to all creation in a visible form that He is in control of all things and has all power.  So, now all creation can praise Him and say worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!

Revelations 5:11 - 14 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Revelations 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. Revelations 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Revelations 5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Most people will come to recognize the symbolism of the 24 Elders as symbolizing all the people of God from the Old and new testament that includes the Universal Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ who are worshipping the Lord God Jesus Christ now and for all eternity.  The songs of the Old Saints are, Don’t forget to thank the Lord for what He has done!!!  and He’s done so much for me, I just can’t tell it all!!

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will.

May he open your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your sins and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.

Then you must continue in prayer to the Lord God Jesus Christ asking him for the Holy Ghost, calling on His Name which is the Lord Jesus Christ and waiting or tarrying until you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives you utterances.  This experience with God will endow you with power.

Then you must leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Then you must continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine, remembering always that he that endures until the End, the same shall be saved.  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God Almighty. Amen

 With perfect love,
Apostle Dennis G. Smith
