                                APOSTLE'S MESSAGE

Date: March 19, 2023

To all the Saints of God,

Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World.  As this Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.

Health authorities and governmental officials are now advising people to wear face mask in public gatherings, use social distancing, and get vaccinated for your own health and safety from the Covid-19 virus.  In some places wearing face mask is no longer mandatory in indoor public spaces.

·   March 15, 2023, community transmission of Covid-19 remains in the green zone in Fulton County and in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. This means that the spread of the virus is at a low level in Atlanta, and you should continue to take precautions based on for your individual health condition. Some officials are reporting that we are moving from pandemic which is worldwide spread to endemic which is localized community spread.

·         Face masks continue to be recommended for individual safety based on your individual health condition and risk.

·         Gatherings indoors is allowed without face mask, but each individual should be aware of their individual health risk.

·         Vaccinations and boosters remain the recommended most effective way for individual safety for dealing with the spread of Covid-19 according to health authorities.

·         Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters are offered to everyone in the State of Georgia.

We are open for indoor in-person services with face mask, social distancing, temperature checks and Covid-19 testing when needed. Each person attending in-person services should be fully aware of their own health risk as mask may be removed during singing and speaking, and some may attend without mask. We are also continuing online services through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube.

In-person Baptism and prayer service are available by attending our local service on site, attending our services on Zoom, or emailing your request to:

                          info@ministersofjesuschrist.com or prayerrequest@ministersofjesuschrist.com.

As we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.

Romans 13:2-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

TITUS 3:1-2 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

This week’s encouraging words of growth focuses on:

31st Memorial Day and 31st Pastoral Anniversary

by Apostle Dennis G. Smith

We have completed another year of faithful service in the Lord.  We give thanks to the Lord God Jesus Christ for His true promise that He would be with us always.  Each year that we come to this day we are reminded of a memorial in the scripture where a memorial was made because of an event in which the Lord granted deliverance and victory.  It is hard for  most people to see victory when pain and tears are involved, but when we see the power and strength to endure given by the Lord God Jesus Christ, then we can see our victory.  In the Bible we find that for seven days after the Passover the people were to eat unleavened bread as a memorial or a reminder that God brought the people out of Egypt with haste.  And even thought this was a different time, and under different circumstances it still today reminds the people that God is able to deliver us from whatever has us in bondage. Bondage may not be actual slavery as it pertains to forced free labor, but it may be the anger and tears from a bad happening in your life.  When we speak of deliverance, we speak of victory over what may seem to be a dire situation of pain and tears from our surrounding environment or people who have given in to wrongful behavior.  To come out with victory we must stand on the promises of the Lord God Jesus Christ.  We must continue in love for all the Saints of God even when we are hated.  Just imagine a group of people who had served another group of people for a number of centuries, yet the Lord God delivers them from a dire situation and a memorial is made.  It is the deliverance and the victory that God gave which we are focusing our viewpoint on today.  Can you imagine people who are bound by bondage being set free in victory?

Exodus13:1 - 5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  Exodus 13:02 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine. Exodus 13:03 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. Exodus 13:04 This day came ye out in the month Abib Exodus 13:05 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

Memorial can and should be a good thing for all the Saints of God, because it reminds us by remembrance of a previous special happening of what to do and what not to do.  It also reinforces our promise to obey all the commandments of the Lord God Jesus Christ in continuing in Love for all the Saints of God.  Therefore we should say and mean it each day that, “I will always Love You.”  Notice that we can make this statement by the proven strength that the Lord God Jesus Christ has given us.  You can now truly say, "I am going to continue to love you even if you do not care about me and the pain that I feel".

I will not be too long in my encouraging words today as I want all the Saints of God to be reminded that I am still in Love with God Almighty and all the Saints of God around the planet. No happening has been able to separate be from the Love of God or to change my love for the Saints of God.  Again I Say,

“ I will always love all of You!!!”     Happy Memorial Day Celebration of Holding on 31 years.

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will.

May he open your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your sins and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.

Then you must continue in prayer to the Lord God Jesus Christ asking him for the Holy Ghost, calling on His Name which is the Lord Jesus Christ and waiting or tarrying until you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives you utterances.  This experience with God will endow you with power.

Then you must leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Then you must continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine, remembering always that he that endures until the End, the same shall be saved.  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God Almighty. Amen

 With perfect love,
Apostle Dennis G. Smith
