APOSTLE'S MESSAGE

Date: July 10, 2022
To all the Saints of God,
Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World.  As this Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.

Health authorities and governmental officials continue to strongly encourage people to wear face coverings in public gatherings and use social distancing, wash your hands, and get tested to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  In some places wearing face mask is mandatory in indoor public spaces.

We are open for indoor, in-person services with face mask, social distancing, temperature checks and Covid-19 testing. We are also continuing online services through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube.   In-person Baptism and prayer service are available by attending our local service on site, attending our services on Zoom, or emailing your request to:

info@ministersofjesuschrist.com or prayerrequest@ministersofjesuschrist.com.

As we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.

Romans 13:2-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

TITUS 3:1-2 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

This week’s encouraging words of growth focuses on:

The Final Judgement, Where will you spend eternity?
edited by Apostle Dennis G. Smith

Judgment.  We must all continue to remember that all men will stand before God and be judged according to his works one day.  This should be one of the main reasons to continue to warn all the people in the world.

"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).

There will be a resurrection for all human beings, all of mankind because we must give an account to God Almighty for our actions in our natural body as to whether or not we have obeyed the commandments of God.

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad" (II Corinthians 5:10).

The eternal destiny of every soul shall be determined by a just God who knows the secrets of everyone’s heart. "And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. . .. Then shall he also say unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal" (Matthew 25:32-34, 41, 46).

The Final Reward of the Righteous for those who are saved will be in the city not made with hands, the new Jerusalem the eternal home of the redeemed.

Revelations 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelations 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelations 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

All people that stop committing sinful acts, who turn from sinful ways and live a righteous, holy lifestyle will be the sons of God. This is the conclusion of all people who have truly repented of their sinful ways.

Revelations 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The truly redeem people will live in the Holy New Jerusalem which is the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ the Almighty God.

Revelations 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. Revelations 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Revelations 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Revelations 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

No evil people or criminals will be living in this city. All the crime and sinful sensual conduct that is common in the city of most nations today will not occur in this city

Revelations 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

. The final destiny of all wicked, evil people and all unbelievers is to be cast in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone for eternal suffering. This eternal punishment will never end and from which they will never escape.

Revelations 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The actions that you take now in your life will determines the place where you will spend eternity in the future!!
Every person final state is totally dependent upon what they are doing at this time each day of their present lives. Their eternal destiny will be decided by whether or not they trusts in the redeeming blood of the Lord Jesus Christ through faith and obedience to the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We all need to examine ourselves each day and consider the nearness of our souls to our appointment with death.

David solemnly declared, "There is but a step between me and death" (I Samuel 20:3).

The ending of the natural body or mortal life will happen to all flesh and blood life at some point in time, but we do not know in most cases the exact time, and in some cases, we do not know the exact place, and or in some cases the exact manner of what we know as death will happen, but we are sure it will eventually happen to all of us in some way.  For those who are caught up at the time the Lord Jesus Christ comes to take away his Church and end the dispensation of Grace, the ending of the natural mortal body will not be sleep according to the way we understand the death of the natural body, but they will be change from a mortal body to an immortal body in the twinkling of an eye.

1Corinthians15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

We are all going make this journey on our own, for death is the final condition or step at the end of the mortal life.   When we put our trust in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who paid the price for our sins and gave us his Holy Spirit we can face the conclusion of our mortal life with the hope of eternal joy knowing our eternal place with God.  The Lord Jesus Christ will never leave the believers who are faithful and obedient to his commandments.

We will continue this series next week……

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will.
May he open your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your sins and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.

Then you must continue in prayer to God asking him for the Holy Ghost, calling on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and waiting or tarrying until you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives you utterances.

Then you must leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Then you must continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine remembering always that he that endures until the End, the same shall be saved.  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God Almighty. Amen

With perfect love,
Apostle Dennis G. Smith

 ONGOING GUIDANCE
• Vaccination remains the most effective protection against COVID-19
• Practice social distancing
• Frequently wash hands
• Frequent cleaning of public and high touch areas

Social Distancing guidelines:
• Social distancing means staying away from close contact in public spaces. It includes actions like staying out of places where lots of people gather and maintaining distance — approximately 6 feet — from others.
• Social distancing also includes minimizing contact with people when possible, limiting nonessential travel, working from home, and minimizing social gatherings.
• All people should practice social distancing — not just those who are seriously ill or at high risk.
• Social distancing is a proven way to slow the spread of pandemics.

When to Wear a Mask:
Those who are staying home and have no close contact with people who are infected with COIVID-19 do not need a mask most of the time. However, wearing a nonmedical or homemade mask may be helpful in certain situations or for certain populations. Wear a Mask when:
• Shopping at essential businesses, like grocery stores or pharmacies.
• While visiting your health care provider.
• Traveling on public transportation.
• Interacting with customers/clients at essential businesses.
• When feeling sick, coughing, or sneezing.
• In all public spaces indoors and outdoors.

Because homemade masks protect everyone else from the droplets created by the wearer, it is important that as many people as possible wear these masks when leaving their homes. This helps prevent those who may be infectious but are only mildly symptomatic or not symptomatic from spreading the virus to others in the community.

Everyone should remember the phrase: “My mask protects you; your mask protects me.” By increasing the overall number of people who are containing their coughs, sneezes, and other droplets, it will help us control the overall spread of the virus.
