Date: July 3,
2022
To all the
Saints of God,
Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World. As this
Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God
that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health
and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.
Health authorities and
governmental officials continue to strongly encourage people to wear face
coverings in public gatherings and use social distancing, wash your hands, and
get tested to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In
some places wearing face mask is mandatory in indoor public spaces.
We are continuing limited indoor, in-person services with face mask, social distancing, temperature checks and Covid-19 testing. We are also continuing online services through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube. In-person Baptism and prayer service are available by attending our local service on site, attending our services on Zoom, or emailing your request to:
info@ministersofjesuschrist.com or prayerrequest@ministersofjesuschrist.com.
As
we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear
our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.
Romans
13:2-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no
power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
TITUS 3:1-2 Put
them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to
be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but
gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
This week’s
encouraging words of growth focuses on:
The
Resurrection of the Just and the unjust
by Apostle
Dennis G. Smith
We continue to remind all people that you must repent which means to turn away from living a sinful lifestyle and turn to God asking for forgiveness of your sins and live a holy lifestyle without practicing sinful ways. You must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of you sins and continue in prayer asking God for the gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives you utterances.
You must come to understand that your salvation is a gift offered to you, but
God will not force it upon you. And even if you donot chose to obey the
commandments of God for salvation from everlasting punishment you will rise
again in the resurrection and suffer the consequence of your choice because there
will be a resurrection of all the dead, both the just and the unjust. The
Resurrection of the just people and the resurrection of the unjust, ungodly
people are separated by one thousand years. Which means that the Saints of God
will rise again and be with the Lord Jesus Christ 1000 years before the
disobedient, unrighteous people will rise again. The soul on the
unrighteous will remain in the place of confinement until their bodies are
raised from the dead 1000 years after the Saints of God have risen from the
dead.
Revelations 20:1-7 And
I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a
great chain in his hand. Revelations 20:2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan,
and bound
him a thousand years, Revelations
20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon
him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should
be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Only
the those that are Holy will be in the first resurrection. From
this we can all come to understand and know that every Church that teach that it
is unnecessary to live a Holy lifestyle will not be saved. Everyone that
join or attend Churches that donot teach each person to be holy are clearly
deceived, lost, and doomed to eternal suffering. This is one of
the reasons that we must continue to spread the truth among all nations.
Revelations 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was
given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness
of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in
their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Revelations 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until
the thousand years were finished. This
is the first resurrection. Revelations 20:6 Blessed and holy is
he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath
no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with
him a thousand years.
Revelations 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed
out of his prison, Revelations 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations
which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them
together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Revelations
20:09 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of
the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of
heaven and devoured them.
Revelations 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of
fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and
shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The
just of the present age will be those who have been redeemed by the blood of the
Lamb. Those who have been baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and are filled
with the gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other
tongues as the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ gives them utterances. All
those who did not obey the Apostle’s Doctrine are the ungodly who have refused
to surrender to the whole truth of the gospel. And they will all be resurrected
from the dead to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ who is the one and only
Almighty God for there
will be a resurrection of all the dead, both the just and the unjust.
John 5:28 - 29 Marvel
not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves
shall hear his voice, John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good,
unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the
resurrection of damnation.
When the thousand years are finished, there shall be a general resurrection of the dead, who shall be summoned before the Great White Throne for their final judgment, and all whose names are not found written in the book of life shall be cast into the lake of fire, burning with brimstone, which is the second death that God hath prepared for the devil and his angels and all the wicked who serve him.
Revelations 20:11 - 15 And
I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth
and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Revelations 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were
opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
their works. Revelations 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;
and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were
judged every man according to their works. Revelations 20:14 And death and hell
were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelations 20:15 And
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of
fire.
Daniel 12:2 And
many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to
everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Here
the bible is dealing with the sleeping of the body, not the dwelling place of
the soul. All
human life will be resurrected from the dead. This should
now make all men see that all humans will live forever either with the Lord
Jesus Christ in happiness or in the eternal lake of fire in suffering. This
should awake the mind of ever person to understand that death of the natural
body is not the end of human life, only the end of the mortal life form which
survives by the circulation of blood.
1Corinthians 15:12 Now
if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that
there is no resurrection of the dead? 1Corinthians 15:13 But if there be
no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 1Corinthians 15:14
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also
vain. 1Corinthians 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because
we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so
be that the dead rise not. 1Corinthians 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is
not Christ raised: 1Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your
faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 1Corinthians 5:18 Then they also which
are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 1Corinthians 15:19 If in this life
only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1Corinthians
15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them
that slept. 1Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the
resurrection of the dead. 1Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in
Christ shall all be made alive. 1Corinthians 15:23 But every man in his own
order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
1Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the
kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all
authority and power. 1Corinthians 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all
enemies under his feet. 1Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be
destroyed is death.
Now that we know that all human beings will be resurrected from the dead, we can all come to see death in a different light with complete understanding. The first death which is the dying of the natural mortal body is an appointment for men once to die, the just holy people and the unjust unholy people which is the end of life in a mortal body because the mortal body must put on immortality which is an everlasting bodily form.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to
die, but after this the judgment:
Some of
the just people will be changed without the natural body falling asleep in the
twinkling of an eye. But the second death is for the disobedient and unjust
people which is eternal suffering in the lake of fire.
We will
continue this series next week……
May the Lord
Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will.
May he open
your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your sins
and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of your sins.
Then you must
continue in prayer to God asking him for the Holy Ghost, calling on the Name of
the Lord Jesus Christ and waiting or tarrying until you receive the gift of the
Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit
gives you utterances.
Then you must
leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love
of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
Then you must
continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine remembering always that he that
endures until the End, the same shall be saved. In the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ who is God Almighty. Amen
With perfect
love,
Apostle Dennis
G. Smith

ONGOING
GUIDANCE
• Vaccination
remains the most effective protection against COVID-19
• Practice
social distancing
• Frequently
wash hands
• Frequent
cleaning of public and high touch areas
Social
Distancing guidelines:
• Social
distancing means staying away from close contact in public spaces. It includes
actions like staying out of places where lots of people gather and maintaining
distance — approximately 6 feet — from others.
• Social
distancing also includes minimizing contact with people when possible, limiting
nonessential travel, working from home, and minimizing social gatherings.
• All people
should practice social distancing — not just those who are seriously ill or at
high risk.
• Social
distancing is a proven way to slow the spread of pandemics.
When to Wear
a Mask:
Those who are
staying home and have no close contact with people who are infected with
COIVID-19 do not need a mask most of the time. However, wearing a nonmedical or
homemade mask may be helpful in certain situations or for certain populations. Wear
a Mask when:
• Shopping at
essential businesses, like grocery stores or pharmacies.
• While
visiting your health care provider.
• Traveling on
public transportation.
• Interacting
with customers/clients at essential businesses.
• When feeling
sick, coughing, or sneezing.
• In all public
spaces indoors and outdoors.
Because
homemade masks protect everyone else from the droplets created by the wearer, it
is important that as many people as possible wear these masks when leaving their
homes. This helps prevent those who may be infectious but are only mildly
symptomatic or not symptomatic from spreading the virus to others in the
community.
Everyone should
remember the phrase: “My mask protects you; your mask protects me.” By
increasing the overall number of people who are containing their coughs,
sneezes, and other droplets, it will help us control the overall spread of the
virus.
