To all the Saints of God,
Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the
World. As this Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually
reminding the Saints of God that we are obeying the magistrates
and following the guideline of the health and governmental
authorities for the safety of all people.
Health authorities and
governmental officials continue to strongly encourage people to
wear face coverings in public gatherings and use social
distancing, wash your hands, and get tested to help stop the
spread of the Covid-19 virus. In
some places wearing face mask is mandatory in indoor public
spaces.
-
As
of June 23, 2022,
the City of Atlanta, Georgia remains in the Yellow Zone
with community transmission of Covid-19 trending upward
above 15% positive test. This
means that transmission is moderate, and you will need to follow
caution to limit being exposed to the virus at this time.
-
Social
distancing and face mask are recommended for gatherings to control
the spread of Covid-19 or for individual safety.
-
Gatherings indoors is allowed but face mask and social distancing
is recommended for individual safety.
-
Vaccinations and boosters remains the recommended most effective
way to control the spread of Covid-19 by health authorities.
-
Covid-19
vaccinations and boosters are now offered to everyone in Georgia
by schedule.
We are open for indoor, in-person services with face mask,
social distancing, temperature checks and Covid-19 testing. We are
also continuing online services through Zoom, Facebook, and
YouTube. In-person Baptism and prayer service are available by
attending our local service on site, attending our services on
Zoom, or emailing your request to:
As
we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will
continue to hear our prayers and provide a way for us through
these uncertain times.
Romans
13:2-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For
there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of
God.
TITUS 3:1-2 Put
them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey
magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no
man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all
men.
This
week’s encouraging words of growth focuses on:
Understanding
the Second Coming of Jesus Christ
By
Apostle Dennis G. Smith
The
Second Coming of Christ is the way that most Churches refer to the
return of the Lord Jesus Christ in a physical bodily form. This
reference when using the word second to
refer to the coming of our Lord may lead
some people to wrong conclusions. The Bible teaches us that the
Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to earth in bodily form, just as
He went away. But in most places in the scripture, it does not
use the word second to
limit the way that the Lord Jesus is dealing with the Saints each
day. This
is because the Lord Jesus Christ in Spiritual form
and in different ways has continued to communicate with believers
throughout time and ages. When some people use the words, “second
coming” , they may fail to recognized that
the Lord Jesus Christ also said, “ I am with you
always, even unto the end of the world.”
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I
have commanded you: and, lo, I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
So,
when we recognize his abiding presence, we know that the Coming of
the Lord Jesus Christ in the Clouds is a special occasion when he
will return in his glorified visible physical form which can be
seen and recognized by all people and the obedient, faithful
Saints of God will be coming back with him. They are his obedient
Saints of the Church Age and all those through other Ages who obey
the word of God. Then the order of things will change, and they
will govern or reign with the Lord Jesus during the Millennial Kingdom and
for eternity. So the Church today is waiting on Resurrection and
the Translation of the Saints often
called the Rapture which
is the Ending of the Dispensation of Grace. You will notice that
the ending of Grace conclude with an increase in sinful ways
throughout the world causing great suffering and despair.
Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld,
he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts
1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up,
behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing
up into heaven? this
same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come
in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
But there are some events which will happen before the Coming
of the Lord in a physical bodily form that can be recognized by
all men. The
Lord Jesus Christ came in a natural body through the Virgin Mary
to die for our sin and the bible teaches us that he will appear a second
time in the glorified bodily form that
ascended into Heaven.
Hebrews 9:22 - 28 And
almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and
without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews9:23
It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the
heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things
themselves with better sacrifices than these. Hebrews9:24 For
Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands,
which are the figures of the true; but
into heaven itself, now to
appear in the presence of God for us: Hebrews9:25
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest
entereth into the holy place every year with blood of
others; Hebrews9:26 For then must he often have suffered
since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of
the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of
himself. Hebrews9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to
die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews9:28 So
Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto
them that look for him shall he
appear the second time without
sin unto salvation.
Notice that this scripture does not limit the number of times
that the Lord Jesus Christ reveals himself to believers who call
upon his name, but it teaches us that the Lord Jesus came in a
natural body to bear the sins of many and he will come again in
his glorified body for the salvation of all obedient believers.
The
Church Age and the dispensation of Grace will come to an end when the
Lord Jesus Christ takes
away the holy people his bride, which is the Church of the Lord
Jesus Christ, the Saints of God of the Church Age, who have
accepted redemption through His blood, by birth of water and of
the Spirit in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and who are found
faithful.
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with
the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the
dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to
meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever he with the Lord"
(I Thessalonians 4:16-17).
Only
the Faithful Church members and those who are pure in heart will
go with the Lord. Many so-called pillars of the Church will be
left behind to face the great tribulation. The
Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will not be on earth at this
time. The bible teaches us of that some will be
killed for their faith in God. Those who stay true to their faith
and accept death in the face of this evil time will become the
tribulation Saints.
Revelations 6:7
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the
fourth beast say, Come and see.
Revelations 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name
that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was
given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword,
and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Revelations 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the
altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for
the testimony which they held: Revelations 6:10 And they cried
with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou
not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Revelations 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them;
and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little
season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that
should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Though
the Saints of the Church Age will see and is seeing the time of
sorrows which is the time that leads into the Tribulation, and the
Church will see the beginning of the Tribulation period according to
the midtribulational view that is taught by the Apostle’s Doctrine,
the Saints will be taken away before the Great Tribulation which is
the last part of the Tribulation period when the
distress on the Earth will be so intense that many people will
experience great suffering, and some will be killed in horrible ways.
"One shall be taken and the other left" (Luke I 7:36).
We
are seeing the signs of the ending of the dispensation of Grace
and the Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to take away his Church in
everyday life during these last days. We are seeing many false
prophets and false prophetesses, false Apostles, and false saints
of God with forms of godliness without of the power of God, who
have never committed themselves to the Holy Ghost. We see the
people of society and politics corrupted proclaiming themselves
with the power to make decisions that only our sovereign Lord God
Jesus Christ has. We see people filled with pride and sensual
beauty flashing their naked bodies in Church services and in the
public with no shame. We
see people who are
so lazy that they are putting television fantasy game shows before
the worship of God and openly discrediting the word of God which
is blasphemy, engaging in unholiness with false same sex
marriages, lovers of evil violence, and lovers of the pleasure of
sinful sexual whoredoms and whoremongers who are people with no
love of God. These people are very dangerous, and the Saints of
God are dealing with perilous, perilous bad times.
2Timothy 3:1 - 5 This
know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2
Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,
boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful,
unholy, 2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers,
false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are
good, 2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of
pleasures more than lovers of God; 2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
We
see the increased travel ability of multitudes of people moving
about and running to and fro spreading their evil ways all over
the world, the increase of knowledge, the
continuous persecution and battles of the Jews in the world who
are the root of the belief in one God, and the battles in
Palestine with some of the Jews themselves unable to establish
peace with their neighboring countries or people living in the
same territorial lands
having continuous battles unable to come to peaceful terms while
trying to live peaceably with all men when possible which we are
taught to do as Apostolic Christians believers.
Daniel 12:1- 4 And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which
standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time
of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to
that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered,
every one that shall be found written in the book. Daniel 12:2 And
many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some
to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of
the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the
stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel,
shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:
The
beginning of sorrows include many wars, rumors of wars, famines,
earthquakes, increase intensity of storms, floods, pandemics and
epidemics causing great distress to the nations of the world,
perplexity and economic confusion in dealing with the many
troubles facing the nations of the world, and people’s hearts
failing them for fear which gives
us absolute proof that the Church is seeing the time of sorrows
upon the earth.
Matthew 24:5 - 8 For
many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many. Matthew 24:6
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is
not yet.
Matthew 24:07 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and
earthquakes, in divers places. Matthew 24:8 All
these are the beginning of sorrows.
These
signs tell us that the time for the Ending of the Church Age and
the Resurrection and translation of the Saints of God is near.
These signs establishes that the true and faithful people of God
will be removed from the earth at any time now without the
announcement of a special day or special hour when it will occur
which will catch some people who attend Church gatherings in
buildings by surprise who will be unprepared having never been
baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ or received the gift
of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking in other
tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterances who will be
left behind. After the Church is gone, the whole world will
continue to descend into the darkness until
there will be great
wars that
will escalate into nuclear warfare and
destruction that will kill many, many lives on the planet and
produce a time of intense suffering.
Luke 21:25 -
28 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in
the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of
nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Luke
21:26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of
heaven shall be shaken. Luke 21:27 And
then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power
and great glory. Luke 21:28 And when these
things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your
heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
From these biblical scriptures we must
all conclude
that the word phrase “second coming” then
is referring to a
special event which will be the
Coming of the Great God and Our Savior Lord Jesus Christ in the glorified
visible and recognizable bodily form as
they saw him ascending
into the cloud with all of his Saints with power and great glory a second
time unto
salvation for all obedient believers.
The word "second" should
never be used to limit the ways in which the Lord Jesus Christ
deals with his Saints each day. All Apostolic Christian obedient
believers should continue to call on the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ and he will answer your
prayers!!! For men ought to always pray!!!
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing
up into heaven? this
same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,
shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Titus 2:13 - 14 Looking for that blessed hope, and the
glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from
all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous
of good works.
We will continue this series next week……
May the Lord Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the
center of his will.
May he open your understanding that you will come to know that you
must repent of your sins and be baptized by immersion in water in
the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.
Then you must continue in prayer to God asking him for the Holy
Ghost, calling on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and waiting or
tarrying until you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the
sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives you
utterances.
Then you must leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to
perfection overcoming the love of the world, the lust of the
flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
Then you must continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine
remembering always that he that endures until the End, the same
shall be saved. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God
Almighty. Amen
With perfect love,
Apostle Dennis G. Smith

ONGOING GUIDANCE
•
Vaccination remains the most effective protection against COVID-19
•
Practice social distancing
•
Frequently wash hands
•
Frequent cleaning of public and high touch areas
Social Distancing guidelines:
•
Social distancing means staying away from close contact in public
spaces. It includes actions like staying out of places where lots
of people gather and maintaining distance — approximately 6 feet —
from others.
•
Social distancing also includes minimizing contact with people
when possible, limiting nonessential travel, working from home,
and minimizing social gatherings.
•
All people should practice social distancing — not just those who
are seriously ill or at high risk.
•
Social distancing is a proven way to slow the spread of pandemics.
When to Wear a Mask:
Those who are staying home and have no close contact with people
who are infected with COIVID-19 do not need a mask most of the
time. However, wearing a nonmedical or homemade mask may be
helpful in certain situations or for certain populations. Wear
a Mask when:
•
Shopping at essential businesses, like grocery stores or
pharmacies.
•
While visiting your health care provider.
•
Traveling on public transportation.
•
Interacting with customers/clients at essential businesses.
•
When feeling sick, coughing, or sneezing.
•
In all public spaces indoors and outdoors.
Because homemade masks protect everyone else from the droplets
created by the wearer, it is important that as many people as
possible wear these masks when leaving their homes. This helps
prevent those who may be infectious but are only mildly
symptomatic or not symptomatic from spreading the virus to others
in the community.
Everyone should remember the phrase: “My mask protects you; your
mask protects me.” By increasing the overall number of people who
are containing their coughs, sneezes, and other droplets, it will
help us control the overall spread of the virus.
